Before I let it get too far away from me, I wanted to share my Christmas Brunch Menu for 2015. This menu would be great for any brunch celebration like Valentine’s Day, birthdays, Easter, Mother’s Day, or any special breakfast. It was simple, comforting, and delicious, and it was easy to put together for the cook (me!).
Today I have a wrap up of my Tapas Week Menu, as well as some of my other recipe ideas and some great ideas from other awesome blogs. Tapas recipes can work for just about any party, football spread (I CAN’T wait for football to start again!!!), happy hour, or just for snacking. Tapas night…
I was going to say that I was interrupting Brown Bag Lunch month, with my Mother’s Day brunch menu, but you know, this Almond Cake would be fabulous in a lunch bag! It’s nice and moist, and would be a wonderful little snack cake in the afternoon. And, it keeps for a week at room temperature. What could be lovelier!

With the Super Bowl coming up we spent some time thinking about the menu. And, just like last year, my team will be playing in the Big Game! So, that means we are staying home and watching the game alone. No big party, because we want to be able to watch the game and not host. But, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a big spread of food! No sir-ee-bob! We will have enough food to feed a whole party! And, here’s what we decided to make for this year!
I know, this isn’t my normal recipe! It’s not vegetarian! We first made this Braised Beef with Balsamic Roasted Tomatoes for Christmas Eve Dinner. This really smells awesome while it cooks, even to this vegetarian. My husband loved this dish! And, he’s made it twice now, so it must be good!
