As many of you know, my brother and sister in-law are expecting their first baby soon. Here are some pictures from the shower!
Before Christmas I saw someone post about the “true meaning of Christmas”. That’s a personal definition, but to me, the true meaning of Christmas is love. I’m lucky because I can share my love with children I don’t know, children who need love. With that, please read the lovely words sent to me from Santa Pat.
What I’m thankful for, a short list
Take on the kindness challenge. For one day this week, show a little kindness to every person you meet. Watch their response. Pay attention to how you feel. And if you like what you see and how you feel, then take on the kindness challenge for another day.
We stayed up late, laughing with friends and family. Joking. Talking. Eating too much. And, perhaps a drink or two were consumed. It was great. Thanks especially to Randy for doing all that work. Thanks to Amy for having a birthday around the same time as me. And, thanks to Dan for everything.
I donate to a shelter for children and families called Crittenton. The thank you letter came from “Santa”, and it moved me so much that I felt I wanted to share it with you. I know it’s long, but it’s really worth it to read the whole thing. And, if you have kids you may want to have them read it because it truly is about the spirit of Christmas.
