Chili Peppers

I know that some chilies are hotter than others, and I know that even if you buy the same type of chilies, some will be hotter than others. Why? But, what if they all come from my garden, from the same plant- will they all be the same intensity? Why are some of the same types of chilies hotter than others?

Cilantro

Last year, I started growing cilantro to put in my salsa and in my guacamole (I suffer from “guacarexia”- the desire to obtain all of one’s calories from avocadoes). At the end on the year, the plant went to seed and, much to my pleasure, replanted itself all over the garden.

Potatoes
